JESUS

My Testimony

Many of my posts will often be centered around Jesus and his faithfulness as he is the most important thing in the world to me above EVERYTHING else! But.. It wasn’t always that way. I want to share with you all my testimony and story of what makes me, me. Now, I don’t have a crazy backstory where I was on drugs or anything like that but, I still believe mine is just as important and many other people will still be able to relate.

Ive been in church ever since I was about a week old. I grew up in an Assemblies of God church where the people were a little open to the things of the spirit but, I definitely wasn’t exposed to everything I have been in the last 2 years since I really came into the “charismatic” stream. I was your basic teenage chrisitan for most of my life; I believed in God, I love him, I prayed when I needed something, etc. However, like many others, I didn’t really /know/ him.

It was May 2015 when my dad came home from a Sunday night service I didn’t go to and told me my pastor had asked if there were any church members, specifically youth that wanted to go to Brazil 100% free on a missions trip. At first I was a bit scared because I knew I was in no way prepared to go on something like this and I didn’t even know what this trip entailed but, I agreed to it. So it came June 29, 2015 I left to go to Fortaleza, Brazil without knowing that my life was about to completely change forever!

Throughout my two weeks in Brazil I came to personally know the living God and go to experience his love and power in ways I did not know was humanly possible. I saw healings and miracles that have marked me forever. One of my favorite things I saw was a lady had a tumor on her foot and it completely disappeared from prayer. Another one was this lady had a super raspy voice where she could barely talk for 13 years had her voice completely restored. The most special part of all was being baptized in the spirit in an amazing brazillian church! I gave my first words of knowledge, received my first prophetic words, began speaking in tongues, and began to know the heart and way of Father God. This was the trip that started it all.

Flash forward another year and I finshed my senior year of high school and I was ready to return to Brazil for YPI 2016. Prior to this I had planned on attending fashion school in NYC. I had been accepted to college, took a $54,000 loan out for1 year, and got my room set for the dorms. Little did I know God had completely plans for me…

I went through YPI again and God did something completely different for me this year. The first year was basically an introduction for me and I got to see a lot of amazing healings but, this year was completely different; it was about growing in love and intimacy with him. I learned to hear his voice and to truly feel his love and to know his heart. After this trip I was so impacted and knew that Global School is where I needed to go so I applied, got accepted and moved to Mechanicsburg, PA, putting my dreams of fashion school and NYC aside for now.

First year of school was the best and hardest 9 months of my life at the same time. One day I was feeling so on fire for God and confident in where I was with him and ready to go and then the next I felt very lowly and unsure about everything. There were days I couldn’t believe how awesome life was and then days where I just wanted to pack up and go home but, his faithfulness is never-ending. I went to Brazil again, ministered at a Salem witch festival, attended countless conferences, received training and impartation from amazing speakers, made the best friends, and so much more. I made it through the year with so much personal growth and growth in basically every area of  my life. I learned so much in not only how to do ministry but, also the importance of celebrating others, really love the people around you, and many other important life lessons. During thisIt was a year I’ll never forget!

And here we are, summer 2017!!! I went to Brazil AGAIN this summer and preached for the very first time! It was an amazing, even more life-changing experience! Preaching came so easy for me and I had so much fun! I saw many miracles while preaching including multiple deaf ears and blind eyes opening!! I think I will actually make a separate blog post on my first time preaching so look out for that!

This is my testimony(summarized).. for now. Second year starts in two weeks and that’s still just the beginning of a huge ride I’m on with Jesus and I can’t wait to continue the adventure
